Disclaimer

Last updated: October 2026

This disclaimer explains the scope of V2Ray Release Hub content and the limits of responsibility. Read these terms before visiting the site, downloading a client, or following configuration steps, and consider your device and intended use before proceeding.

1. Site Purpose and Scope

This site is a V2Ray guide and download directory. It covers installing v2rayN, v2rayNG, and v2flyNG graphical clients, importing subscriptions, choosing proxy modes, and troubleshooting common issues. The information is intended to help explain how the software works; it does not guarantee suitability for any particular device or network.

A client download link is not a promise of network service. Providing download links does not make this site responsible for subscription providers, server operators, or device administrators. Whether a client connects depends on valid configuration, server status, system permissions, and network conditions.

2. Software Use and Operational Risks

You are responsible for deciding whether to download, install, update, or run software, and for any risks involved under applicable law. Changing system proxy, TUN, DNS, or routing settings may affect other apps' connectivity, local network access, or network recovery. Back up important settings, check that you have the necessary permissions, and learn how to restore your network settings after closing the client.

Do not expose local listening addresses, management interfaces, or subscription details to untrusted devices. Before importing a configuration from someone else, verify its source and intended use. Subscription URLs and configuration files may contain access credentials; remove sensitive information before reporting an issue. Open-source software is not necessarily suitable for every configuration, external service, or operating environment.

If a misconfiguration, incorrectly granted permission, system conflict, or third-party service issue causes a connection failure, data loss, or other problem, stop the relevant operation and take steps to recover. Responsibility is determined by applicable law and the specific circumstances.

3. Tutorial Accuracy and Version Differences

Our tutorials reflect the versions available when they were written or last revised. Clients, cores, and operating systems are updated over time, so menu names, settings locations, default ports, and permission prompts may change. Examples illustrate the steps and may not match every version, distribution, or device interface.

If your interface looks different, first check the client name, version, and system architecture, then find the equivalent setting by its purpose. Do not blindly follow screenshots or copy parameters. Troubleshooting advice is general technical guidance, not a substitute for reviewing actual logs, server configuration, and network conditions. We update content when we identify issues, but changes may not appear immediately.

Download links and reference materials may direct you to resources provided by third parties. Those providers manage their own pages, files, terms of service, and privacy policies, which may change, move, or become unavailable. Links are included for convenience and do not guarantee ongoing availability, service quality, or suitability for a particular purpose.

Before leaving this site or using a third-party service, confirm that the resource matches your intended use and review its terms. Assess for yourself whether requests involving accounts, payments, or additional permissions are necessary. We cannot control what third parties do later or resolve service disputes on your behalf.

5. Applicable Rules and Feedback

When using a client, follow the laws that apply where you are, network service terms, and your organization's device management requirements. Our software guides are not legal advice and do not grant permission to access any system, data, or service. Obtain the necessary authorization before using managed devices or business networks.

If instructions seem outdated or you have connection issues, start with the configuration guide and common configuration questions, and check your setup step by step. When reporting an issue, include your operating system, client version, steps taken, and a redacted error message. Nothing in this disclaimer excludes or limits liability that cannot be waived under applicable law. Refer to the text on this page and its update month for the latest revision.
